My Holocaust subject are the Gypsies. Gypsies were mostly persecuted during WW2. Many Gypsies were killed. The Gypsies were persecuted in some of the the same ways as the Jews, except for the fact more Jews were killed than Gypsies.

    One reason why the Gypsies were persecuted was because of their skin color, (racial reasons) some Gypsies were mixed Gypsies and were “pure” Gypsies.Now you’re probably wondering how the were persecuted.There was a law that any Gypsy by the age of of 18 must immediately hanged. Another way they were persecuted was…when they would kidnap their children no matter what the age. Another reason why  they were persecuted is because they spoke their own language. (which Hitler did not like)In result of The gypsies speaking their own language, Hitler outlawed their customs,clothes and language.( Another reason)They also made them attend school.

    Gypsies are still around today ! In  fact millions of them.Not all were killed in WW2.
